May 12th Vienna Town Green Grand Opening

On May 12^th, the residents of Vienna will have yet another good reason to call Vienna home. This is the long planned date for the opening of the new Vienna Town Green. This facility, which will be on Maple Avenue in the heart of Vienna, will be the home of numerous outdoor entertainment events throughout the summer.

Current plans call for Thursday morning entertainment events aimed at the kids. There will also be musical and theatrical events scheduled on Wednesdays at midday and a series of musical concerts on Friday nights. Admission will be free.

The Green will feature an outdoor amphitheater and lawn seating for audiences up to 200 and events will be scheduled from early June to late September. While the schedule of performers is still incomplete, we’d be glad to keep you up to date on what’s coming.
